As chief risk officer for TEA Solutions, Malinda Prudencio is responsible for monitoring commercial business risk. She manages the Credit and Risk Control, Compliance, Analytics, and Power Supply Planning Departments. Ms. Prudencio and her group also monitor compliance strategies to manage the organization’s risk policies. With over 15 years of experience in the energy trading industry, she played an integral role in the development and implementation of policies to monitor market, credit, and operational risk for TEA Solutions and its clients.
As a past committee chair of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers, Ms. Prudencio remains active as an industry presenter on relevant topics including risk control best practices and training.
Ms. Prudencio earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
